The 2025/2026 academic year in Uzbekistan’s schools will begin on September 2, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education reported.
It was stated that in all general education schools across the country, the new 2025/2026 academic year will commence on Tuesday, September 2.
During the first lessons of the school day, classes titled “Hour of the future” will be held under the slogan “For the Homeland, for the Nation, for the People!”.
Additionally, this year, more than 738,000 students entering the first grade will be ceremoniously presented with the “President’s gift", which consists of 12 types of educational supplies.
It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that the 2025/2026 academic year will begin on September 3 for first-year students of higher education institutions, and on September 8 for students in upper years.
