In Uzbekistan, between January-June of this year, the highest monthly salary was paid to employees of enterprises engaged in banking, insurance, leasing, credit, and brokerage activities - an average of 9 million 149.6 thousand soms.  This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

Those working in the field of communication and information also earn high salary amounts. They earned an average of 6,693,000 soms per month.  Those engaged in activities related to transportation and storage earned an average of 4 million 653.4 thousand soms per month.

Those engaged in industry average earned 4 million 548.9 thousand per month, those in the construction sector average 4 million 226.3 thousand, those in the trade sector 3 million 608 thousand, employees in the field of education 2 million 583.8 thousand and healthcare and social service workers - an average of 2 million 377.2 thousand soms.

Between January-June 2022, the level of growth in the field of banking, insurance, leasing, credit and brokerage activities compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was 124.8 percent.

In addition, the information and communication sector have grown by 130.2%, transportation and storage sector - 126.1%, trade sector - 120.1%, industry sector 119.8% - , healthcare and social services sector - 115.5%, the education sector -  by 114.5 percent and the construction sector by 113.0 percent.
