The import of electric cars in Uzbekistan increased 4.5 times

Between January-June of this year, 1,125 electric cars worth 34.1 million US dollars were imported to Uzbekistan from 10 foreign countries. The State Statistics committee reported this.
The import of electric cars increased by 875 cars or 4.5 times compared to the same period in 2021.
In 6 months of 2022, electric cars were imported to Uzbekistan mainly from China - 983. In addition, cars were imported from UAE (73), Germany (27), Hong Kong (25), Korea (6), Lithuania (6) and Estonia (2).
