Uzbekistan's permanent population grows by an average of 1.7 thousand people daily, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Population Figures as of April 1, 2025:
- Permanent population: 37.7 million
- Increase from the same period last year: 2%
Since the start of the year, the population has increased by 154.6 thousand, with an average monthly growth rate of 51.5 thousand.
Current Population as of April 12, 2025:
- Women: 18,722,026
- Men: 18,993,578
Note: Earlier, it was reported that 56% of Uzbekistan’s permanent population is considered economically active.
