The Price of Alcohol Products is Expected to Increase in Uzbekistan

Prices of alcohol products in Uzbekistan are set to increase starting from the 1st of June this year. The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan has reviewed the draft decision titled "On the revision of minimum wholesale and retail prices for alcohol products." This decision entails the introduction of updated minimum wholesale and retail prices for alcohol products, excluding beer.

The revised minimum prices for 1 liter of alcohol products are as follows:

•   Wine: 14,400 soms for wholesale and 16,400 soms for retail (previously 12,000 soms and 14,200 soms.)
•   Cognac: 57,400 soms for wholesale and 66,000 soms for retail (previously 48,200 soms and 57,800 soms.)
•   Vodka and other alcohol products: 37,000 soms for wholesale and 43,000 soms for retail (previously 30,200 soms and 36,200 soms.)
