The price of water in Tashkent is increased by 3.5 times

New tariffs for drinking water and wastewater services have been approved in Tashkent.

According to the decision of the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies, the price of 1 cubic meter of drinking water for residents, budgetary organizations, and wholesale consumers will be increased by 3.5 times.

The decision outlines the following tariffs for one cubic meter of water:

•    The price of drinking water for residents is 1,400 soums (previously 400 soums), and the price of wastewater is 1,000 soums (previously 350 soums).
•    The price of drinking water for wholesale consumers is 1,400 soums (previously 400 soums), and the price of wastewater is 1,000 soums (previously 350 soums).
•    For budget organizations, the price of drinking water is 1,400 soums (previously 400 soums), and wastewater is 1,000 soums (previously 350 soums).
•    For legal organizations, the price of drinking water is 3,000 soums (previously 1,000 soums), and the price of wastewater is 2,200 soums (previously 820 soums).

This decision will come into effect fifteen days after its official announcement.

It is worth noting that earlier, the price of drinking water for residents in seven regions increased from 850 to 2,800 soums.
