The event is scheduled from April 5 to 9, 2025, at the Congress Hall complex in the “Tashkent City” district.
“Representatives from 180 countries, 15 observer states, and over 25 international and inter-parliamentary organizations—amounting to nearly 2,000 delegates—are expected to attend,” the statement noted.
The main theme of the assembly will be “Parliamentary Action for Social Development and Justice.” Discussions will focus on key issues such as eliminating poverty, creating decent working conditions, supporting social inclusion, and increasing the participation of marginalized groups in decision-making processes.
According to the report, the assembly will conclude with the adoption of resolutions by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Tashkent Declaration.
It’s worth mentioning that on April 4-5 of this year, the first Samarkand Climate Forum is set to be held at the “Silk Road Samarkand” congress center.
