6473Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed a protocol on changes in the process of agreeing on a common border. This is reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan today 26 September.
“The delegations of the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the protocol of the joint meeting on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, and this implements the procedure for agreeing on a new draft agreement on certain sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border," the report said.
According to him, the document was signed by the chairman of the State Committee of the National State, Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Kamchibek Tashiyev, and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov.
It is noted that the protocol signed on 26 September completes the process of delimitation of the border.
