During discussions, strong camaraderie and fraternal ties were fostered between the leaders of both nations, culminating in three high-profile visits in 2023. Notably, during Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's visit to Samarkand in June 2023, significant emphasis was placed on signing a cooperation pact regarding employment between the two governments.
Under this agreement, the inaugural meeting of the joint committee is scheduled to be held in Tashkent, facilitating bilateral discussions on employment opportunities for Uzbek citizens in Qatar.
Moreover, in response to Qatar's Labor Ministry's request, dialogue ensued concerning the establishment of dedicated training centers within the country.
The Qatari delegation highlighted a shift in demand over the past decade, from primarily attracting foreign labor for construction to a current need for skilled professionals in sectors such as tourism, healthcare, transportation, IT, and others.
