The draw for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup was held today, January 23, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Asian Football Confederation has announced.
Uzbekistan has been drawn into Group A alongside Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and China.

Group A: Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Thailand, China
Group B: Japan, Australia, Vietnam, UAE
Group C: Republic of Korea, Yemen, Afghanistan, Indonesia
Group D: Iran, Tajikistan, Oman, DPRK
The AFC utilized the results of the past three Asian Cups (India 2016, Malaysia 2018, and Thailand 2023) to determine the seeding of teams for the draw.
This tournament serves as a crucial qualifier for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar. The top eight teams at the AFC U-17 Asian Cup will secure their place in the global competition.
