President to see off Uzbekistan national team to World Cup today

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend ceremonies today, May 22, to award the winners of the “Quality Public Administration” program and launch the National Reading Movement. Presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov reported this.
The President will also meet with a delegation led by Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
In the second half of the day, the head of state will attend a solemn send-off ceremony for Uzbekistan’s national football team ahead of the World Cup.
