The Asian Cup for football players under 20 years of age has started in China. In the first round, the Uzbekistan national team defeated Yemen 1:0.
Led by head coach Farhod Nishonov, the Uzbekistan U-20 national team played its opening match against Yemen, securing a 1:0 victory. The only goal of the match was scored by Muhammadali Urinbayev in the 26th minute, and it remained the decisive factor until the final whistle.
For information, the Uzbekistan U-20 national team will face Indonesia in the second round of the tournament. This match is scheduled for February 16.
