Uzbekistan to play against Kuwait

The Uzbekistan national football team will play a friendly match against Kuwait as part of the FIFA international match days in October, the Kuwait Football Association reported.

According to the announcement, the match will take place on October 9 in Tashkent. The kick-off time and venue have not yet been specified.

Uzbekistan and Kuwait have faced each other five times so far. Uzbekistan has won three of those matches, while Kuwait has won twice.

It was reported earlier that the Uzbekistan national team, currently preparing for the FIFA World Cup, will also play a friendly against Uruguay in October.
