Kazakhstan’s KazTransOil JSC announced on December 15 that it has increased oil transportation volumes to neighboring countries.
According to the company, oil transit to Uzbekistan was resumed in December this year, while oil supplies to the Kyrgyz Republic have also been increased. It is reported that oil transit to Uzbekistan in December is planned at a volume of 35,000 tons.
Oil deliveries to Kyrgyzstan resumed in November this year. Prior to that, oil transportation along this route had last taken place in 2017. KazTransOil plans to supply up to 30,000 tons of oil to Kyrgyzstan by the end of 2025.
The total volume of oil deliveries across both routes is expected to reach up to 65,000 tons, with 55,000 tons accounted for in the current month.
Oil is transported along all routes through KazTransOil’s main pipeline system to the Shagir oil loading point, where it is transferred into railway tank cars.
It was noted that the positive dynamics in oil transportation have been achieved as a result of effective and mutually beneficial cooperation with international partners.
It is worth noting that earlier reports said Kazakhstan plans to increase oil supplies to Europe. In October 2025, KazTransOil shipped 225,000 tons of Kazakh oil to Germany via the Adamova Zastava oil reception point through Transneft’s main pipeline system.
