The first lady of Uzbekistan calls for unity for the future of the planet

The “Zamin” foundation, headed by the spouse of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev - First Lady of the country Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, together with the United Nations Environment Program and national partners held a round table on the theme “The importance of clean air for the quality of human life”.

Ziroat Mirziyoeva, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the foundation “Zamin”, said in the opening speech:

“The future of our planet belongs to all of us, so we are all responsible for the environment, from ourselves to the private sector, from public organizations to governments - we must all work together.

In this regard, actions are not big or small, all actions are very important for the environment: do not harm plants and do not plant small trees, and in large enterprises, reduce waste”.

The results achieved within the project “Automation of monitoring of atmospheric air pollution” were presented at the event, and international experience in this direction was discussed.

Further plans to improve air management in accordance with international latest practices have also been identified.
