Boxer Abdumalik Khalokov, who was the flag bearer for the delegation of Uzbekistan at the Paris Olympics, won the bronze medal in the competition.
In the quarter-final match, Khalokov faced Jose Brotons from Spain, securing a victory by absolute advantage and advancing to the semi-finals of the tournament.
Before Khalokov, Bahodir Jalolov, Lazizbek Mullojonov, and Hasanboy Dusmatov had already secured Olympic medals.
