Uzbekistan has provided protein and vitamins worth one million dollars to Afghanistan. This information was reported by the Pharmaceutical Network Development Agency.
On August 29th, a delegation from the agency conducted negotiations with the leadership of the National Union of Food and Drug Quality Control of the "Taliban" regarding the delivery of pharmaceutical products manufactured in Uzbekistan to the Afghan market.
Consequently, agreements were reached regarding the annual supply of protein and vitamin complexes worth an average of one million dollars, produced in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, it was also disclosed that a project is in development to introduce a mutually simplified system for the state registration of drugs, as well as to enhance the qualifications of Afghan medical personnel through short-term training courses.
