The permanent population of Uzbekistan has nearly reached 37 million, as reported by the Statistics Agency's press service.
It's noted that Uzbekistan's permanent resident count is growing by approximately 1.8 thousand individuals daily.
As of April 1, 2024, Uzbekistan's permanent population stood at 36,963,262 people, marking a 2.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
Since the start of 2024, the country's population has risen by 163,500 individuals.
On average, Uzbekistan's population has grown by 54,500 people monthly throughout 2024, with a daily increase of approximately 1.8 thousand permanent residents.
