Ulugbek Rashidov reaches semi-finals of the Olympics

Ulugbek Rashidov, the champion from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, has advanced to the semi-finals in the -68 kg weight category of taekwondo at the Paris Olympics.
In the quarter-final match, 22-year-old Rashidov secured a victory over Yu Liang. His win in the semi-finals guarantees him at least a silver medal at the Olympics.
In the semi-finals, Rashidov will compete against Javier Perez from Spain.
Earlier in the tournament, Rashidov, who received a bye in the first round, defeated Lo Wai Fung from Hong Kong 2-0 in the second round.
