Ulugbek Rashidov becomes a two-time Olympic champion

Ulugbek Rashidov, representing Uzbekistan in the Taekwondo competition at the Paris Olympic Games, has secured his second consecutive Olympic championship title.

In the -68 kg weight category finals, Rashidov triumphed over Jordanian competitor Zayid Karim.

Before reaching the finals, the 22-year-old Taekwondo athlete from Uzbekistan defeated opponents from Hong Kong, China, and Spain.

With this victory, Rashidov brought the second gold medal of the Paris Olympics to the Uzbekistan delegation. Earlier, judoka Diyora Keldiyorova won the first gold medal in Uzbekistan.
