March 6-7 of the current year, 674 Uzbekistan citizens, including 109 women, 57 adults and 12 infants, have been transported from Ukraine through Katowice airport in Poland.
According to Yusuf Kabuljanov, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, 4,359 citizens of Uzbekistan were repatriated on 19 flights between 28 February and 7 March.
Today, 7 March, one more flight has been scheduled. Over 350 Uzbek citizens remain in Poland. Of these, 80 are located at a gathering point on the border with Poland and about 270 at Katowice airport.
For reference, the first group of Uzbekistan citizens returning from Ukraine via Poland arrived in Tashkent on 28 February.
