A criminal case has been initiated against the teacher using a needle as a punishment to students

Previously, it was reported that the head of the 1st grade at School 277 in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, as a form of punishment for students' mistakes, allegedly pierced their hands with a needle, causing physical injuries. Now, a criminal case has been initiated against this teacher, as reported by the QALAMPIR.UZ source.

On April 16, mothers of 1st graders lodged complaints with the Department of Coordination of Internal Affairs in Sergeli District. Based on these complaints, on April 18, the Investigative Department of Sergeli District Coordinating Activities Department of the DIA launched a criminal case against the teacher under Article 110 (torture), part 2, paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The preliminary investigation is currently underway.

It's worth recalling that previously, in the Zomin district of the Jizzakh region, a teacher who allegedly slapped a student was dismissed from their position.
