5290A recent report revealed that a 9th-grade student from School No. 50 in the Chirchik district of Tashkent region sustained a broken nose after being brutally beaten by several classmates during a physical education lesson. The incident has drawn attention, with the Children's Ombudsman commenting on the case.
The student, identified as A.S., was attacked on November 19, 2024, by A.E. and other students following a conflict with his classmate, A.E. The assault left A.S. with injuries to various parts of his body, including significant damage to his nose.
Currently, pre-investigation procedures are underway, and A.S. has been assigned a forensic medical examination to assess the extent of his injuries.
This incident follows a similar event in Zarafshan, Navoi region, where a mass brawl broke out among 11th-grade students at School No. 3. In response, local authorities, including the city administration, the Department of Preschool and School Education, the Department of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and the school administration, launched an urgent investigation and organized a meeting with the parents of the students involved.
