UFA urges fans to arrive early for Uzbekistan–Qatar match

The Uzbekistan Football Association has called on fans to arrive early for the upcoming Uzbekistan–Qatar match, which will take place tomorrow, June 10, at the Bunyodkor stadium in Tashkent. This match marks the final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

According to the UFA, a special celebratory program will be held before the match to honor the national team’s historic achievement in qualifying for the World Cup. Therefore, ticket holders are urged to come to the stadium early and take their seats in time for the festivities.

The gates to the stadium will open three hours before kickoff — at 15:45 — ahead of the 18:45 match start.

“After the game, a ceremony will be held to recognize the members of our national team who have made history and brought joy to our people,” the statement said.

It is worth noting that traffic restrictions will be in place in parts of Chilonzor district due to the match. Fans are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
