Several flights from Turkey to Uzbekistan were canceled

5353Turkish Airlines has canceled 38 flights scheduled for today, November 23, due to a severe storm expected in Istanbul. This was reported by the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
The cancellations include:
- 10 domestic flights
- 28 international flights
The decision to reduce the airport's throughput capacity by 10% was made following a recommendation from the Meteorological Committee for Emergency Situations.
Istanbul International Airport officials have indicated that further changes to tomorrow’s flight schedules are possible.
"Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights in advance and take appropriate measures," the report advised.
In related news, a recent flight from Moscow to Namangan was diverted to Tashkent. The crew of Ural Airlines flight SVR2611, due to heavy fog at the arrival airport and zero visibility, decided to reroute the plane to Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent.
