4750The Turkic nations need a single alphabet. This was stated by the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, at the conference titled “Youth is the Bright Star of the Turkic World: Our Common Heritage, Our Common Future,” held in the Khorezm region on April 5.
According to him, the adoption of a common alphabet across the Turkic world will strengthen unity and solidarity among these nations.
“The Turkic world has a population of 300 million, spanning a vast geography from Central Asia to Anatolia, and from there to the Balkans and Europe,” he said.
Kurtulmus added that the Turkic world, with its human capital, potential, underground and terrestrial resources, and the strategic goals it has set, is poised to become one of the rising stars in global politics—especially at a time when a multi-centered world is emerging.
“I hope that each of you will become a star in your field of study and lead your country, the Turkic world, and humanity forward,” he told the youth in attendance.
In addition, Kurtulmus expressed confidence that relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan will reach a new level, reaffirming the strong ties between the two countries.
“There is no border separating Akhmad Yasawi in Kazakhstan and Yusuf Hamadani in Khiva. There is no distance separating our cultural heritage in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan,” said Numan Kurtulmus.
For your information, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, met with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent today, April 7. At the beginning of the meeting, the Speaker conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Uzbekistan.
The two sides discussed urgent issues related to strengthening the friendly and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey. It was noted with great satisfaction that bilateral cooperation has reached a high level. Reports indicate that mutual trade and investment indicators are increasing, the number of successful joint projects and enterprises is growing, and direct flights between the countries are becoming more frequent.
