The President of Kazakhstan, Qosim-Jomart Toqayev, visited Uzbekistan on a business trip following an invitation from Uzbekistan's President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as announced by the President's press office.
President Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed his Kazakh counterpart at Urganch International Airport, where the surroundings were adorned with flags representing both nations. The occasion was marked by a grand ceremony featuring traditional songs and dances.
The itinerary for the visit encompassed an informal summit between the two leaders and a joint tour of industrial facilities and cultural landmarks in Khiva.
