Uzbekistan beats Peru in “Kings League”, faces Colombia next

The "Unwanted Boys", Uzbekistan's representatives in the ongoing "Kings League" tournament in Italy, delivered a stunning performance, defeating Peru 5-4 in the third round.  

The victory propels the Uzbek team into the quarterfinals, marking a significant milestone in their campaign. The match unfolded dramatically, with Uzbekistan taking an early 3-0 lead. However, the Peruvian team staged a fierce comeback, narrowing the gap to 3-4. In a thrilling finale, Uzbekistan scored a decisive goal just seconds before the final whistle, clinching their spot in the next round.  

Next, the Uzbeks will face Colombia in the quarterfinals.  

The "Kings League" tournament, organized by Gerard Piqué, has captured international attention and will continue until January 12. The Allianz Stadium, home of "Juventus" in Turin, will host the grand final, promising more high-stakes action as the tournament unfolds.
