Blogger in Tashkent region makes children fight with sharp objects (video)

A video circulating on social media shows a blogger known as “Chechenka” provoking young children to fight. The Children’s Ombudsman has commented on the incident.

According to reports, a woman named A.G., born in 1993 and engaged in blogging, allegedly incited her young son and nephew to fight as a “joke” during a family vacation in the Tashkent region on July 13. She posted a video of the incident on her Instagram page. In the footage, the children are seen throwing objects like forks and spoons at each other, while the woman encourages the violence. One of the children is seen falling to the ground, clutching his head.

Senator Jamila Bobonazarova condemned the act and urged the Children’s Ombudsman to investigate “Chechenka” and take the situation under control.

The Ombudsman for Children’s Rights reviewed the case and, on July 14, requested the Ministry of Internal Affairs to give the incident a legal assessment. As a result, on July 15, citizen G.A. was held accountable under Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to fulfill obligations in raising and educating children).

“The family is currently under special supervision by the authorities,” the report concluded.
