Person who brought and sold narcotics from Tajikistan was arrested

4078A person who planned to purchase narcotics from a Tajikistani citizen for $6,500 and sell them in the Khorezm region has been arrested. This information was reported by the State Security Service.
During an urgent operation, a Damas car driven by a resident of Margilan, born in 1992, was stopped and inspected at the "Namangan" police station while traveling on the "Tashkent-Fergana" route. Authorities discovered 9.573 kg of hashish hidden in the back seat of the vehicle, which was subsequently confiscated.
Additionally, 2.779 kg of hashish and 1.029 kg of opium were found and documented at the suspect's residence.
In a swift follow-up operation, the accomplices of the arrested individual—citizens born in 1987, 1989, and 2003, residing in Fergana and Margilan—were also apprehended.
Separately, a Kia vehicle driven by a resident of Samarkand, born in 1992, was stopped by officers of the State Security Service's Department in the Tuproqkala district while en route on the "Samarkand-Khorezm" route. The officers discovered 2.821 kg of opium in the vehicle, which was also confiscated by legal procedures.
Investigations revealed that the suspect planned to sell the narcotic substance, which he had purchased from a resident of Tajikistan for $6,500 per kilogram, in the Khorezm region.
In another operation, a search of the residence of a citizen born in 1990, living in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, uncovered 45.898 kg of crystalline powder hidden in laundry detergent packages. The substance was identified as containing the potent active ingredient "Pregabalin." Additionally, 1.190 kg of the substance "Tropicamid" was seized during the operation.
In a separate rapid operation conducted in the Mirabad district of Tashkent, a person born in 1986, residing in the Dangara district of Fergana, who had multiple prior convictions, was caught attempting to sell 1,512 units of the powerful drug "Regapen" and 300 units of "Tropicamid" to a citizen born in 1991, also with a criminal record, for 60 million soums.
"It has been confirmed that these drugs were imported from the Kyrgyz Republic. Criminal cases have been initiated against all of the individuals involved, and preventive measures, including imprisonment, have been applied," the report stated.
It is worth recalling that earlier in Tashkent, a criminal group involved in packaging and selling powerful drugs was also apprehended.
