A disturbing video has surfaced on social media showing a man hitting a young boy with a stick, prompting widespread outrage. The Children's Ombudsman has since provided details about the incident.
According to the investigation conducted by local authorities, the footage was recorded in the Regar district of Khatlon region in the Republic of Tajikistan. It has been confirmed that the children in the video were subjected to physical abuse and violence.
Law enforcement agencies in Tajikistan are currently examining the incident to provide a legal assessment and determine accountability for the acts of violence captured in the video.
The video depicts five minors being beaten by a man, who, while hitting the children, demanded they call their parents. A woman's voice can also be heard in the background, adding to the distressing nature of the footage.
