Drug couriers were caught in Tashkent

3700Individuals distributing drugs were apprehended in the Urta Chirchik district of Tashkent region, effectively disrupting the circulation of synthetic drugs, according to a report from the regional General Department of Internal Affairs.
As part of the "Safe Zone - Actual 50 Days" preventive initiative underway in the region, a swift operation was conducted by the Urta Chirchik District Police Department and Bekobod City Police Department. During the operation, three individuals, aged 22-25, were caught in possession of synthetic drugs. They were apprehended while selling 3 grams of synthetic drugs to an undercover buyer for 1.7 million sums. Among them, a man identified as Kh.G. was found with an additional 6 grams of marijuana, while his associate, Sh.L., had a bag specifically designed for drug use in his vehicle.
The investigation revealed that these individuals were in contact with online narcotics suppliers, acting as drug couriers, who received and distributed synthetic drugs through designated drop-off locations.
Following the arrest, officers searched the last location shared with Sh.L., uncovering 20 grams of synthetic drugs as evidence in the "Chinabad" neighborhood of the Qibray district.
The investigation into the case is currently ongoing.
It is worth noting that, in a recent anti-drug campaign held in Tashkent, 32 individuals were arrested for distributing illegal narcotics and psychotropic substances.
