Today, 5 December, due to the snow falling in Tashkent and ice on the roads, the travel time and intervals of public transport may increase.  Tashkent city transport press service warned about this.

"Due to sudden changes in the weather, snowfall, and ice on the roads, all drivers are asked to take into account the difficult weather conditions when driving a vehicle, if not necessary, in their vehicles, especially in winter.  "We ask not to drive in vehicles that do not have the appropriate tires, strictly follow the speed limits, pedestrians to be very careful when crossing the road, and adults to control the movement of children on the roads," the message reads.

The transport service of Tashkent city explained the change in the bus service and intervals with the inconvenience of driving on the roads.

"At the same time, we inform you that due to inconveniences in the movement of motor vehicles on the streets in unfavorable weather conditions, there may be cases where the travel and intermediate interval times of some bus routes may exceed the specified times," the message says.

Earlier, it was reported that gas filling stations for cars will be temporarily closed in Tashkent due to a drop in gas pressure.

For information, there are a total of 1320 buses in the capital city of Tashkent.  1025 of them run on diesel (78%), 275 on gas (21%), and 20 on electricity (electro bus) (2%).
