18586Reports surfaced on social networks that a passenger was forcibly removed from a moving bus in Tashkent. The "Tashshahartranskhizmat" joint stock company responded to the situation.
According to a prompt investigation by the company, the incident occurred today, September 10, at 06:03 p.m. on a King Long bus operating on route No. 93, owned by the "1st Bus Palace" branch. A quarrel broke out between a citizen named Sherali, who was recruited by the bus driver R.O. as an assistant, and a passenger.
To clarify the situation, the bus's video surveillance footage was reviewed. The driver's assistant forced the passenger off the bus, claiming the passenger was intoxicated, disregarded public transport rules and etiquette, and was rude to other passengers, including a female passenger. A physical altercation ensued outside the bus.
"A report has been submitted to the Internal Affairs authorities for a legal assessment of the behavior of Sherali, who acted as the driver's assistant, and the passenger who, while intoxicated, deliberately disregarded societal norms, engaged in a quarrel, and disturbed public order," the report stated.
We remind you that earlier, a "taxi driver" who harassed a female passenger was arrested in Tashkent.
