Residents of 2 districts in Tashkent were left without electricity

Today, 10 April, some areas in Yunusabad and Mirzo Ulugbek districts of the capital Tashkent were cut off from electricity.  This was reported by “Territory Electric Networks”.

It is reported that this was caused by a fault in the high-voltage power transmission network.

In particular, “Obad”, “Bogi boston”, “Firdavsi”, “Bodomzor”, “Mirzo Ulug’bek”, “Posira”, “TashGRES”, “Yangi Tarnov”, “Buyuk Turon” of Yunusabad district.  “Bozsuv”, “Sheikh Shivli”, “Otchopar-1” and “Otchopar-2” neighborhoods and Tashkent Zoo;

110/35 providing electricity to the areas of “Darkhan”, “Salar boyi”, “H. Olimjon”, “Mustaqilik”, “Aqqorgan” and “Kory Niyazov” MFIs of Mirzo Ulug’bek district.  An emergency accident in the overhead power transmission network with a voltage of 110 kilowatts from TashGRES, which supplies 10 kV substations “Astronomicheskaya”, “Ikarus”, “Karamurskaya”, “Savdo” and “Botanika” with electricity in the event of a power outage.

At the same time, emergency teams of the Tashkent city branch of the Joint Stock Company “Regional Electric Networks” were involved in eliminating this malfunction with the necessary electrical devices and special vehicles.

“Soon, this malfunction will be completely eliminated, and the supply of electricity through the network will be fully restored.  “We apologize to consumers for the inconvenience caused during the emergency outage,” the message reads.
