About 6 hectares of land burned in the town of "Ulugbek," Mirzo Ulugbek district, in Tashkent city. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Ecology today, July 22.

According to the ministry, the fire broke out in the green garden area of the Institute of Nuclear Physics under the Academy of Sciences located in the town. The Ministry of Ecology has formed a rapid working group, conducted studies at the scene of the incident, and is determining the cause, consequences, and other details of the fire.

"Detailed information will be provided based on the results of the study," the report says.

We remind you that on July 15 of this year, a big fire broke out on the mountainside located in the Zomin district of Jizzakh. As a result of the fire, about 50 hectares of dry heather burned on the mountainside.
