In the Tashkent region, a teenager sustained injuries following a collision between a "Jiguli" and a "Niva" due to the driver of the former disregarding a red traffic light. This incident was reported by the Road Safety Department of the regional MDIA.
According to the report, on October 15 at approximately 12:00 p.m., the driver of a "Vaz 2101" vehicle, identified as M.Z. and born in 1989, violated traffic rules while driving in the opposite direction on a road in the "Nayman" neighborhood area of Zangiota district. Failing to obey the traffic lights, he collided with a "Niva," driven by Q.Q., born in 1987, who was merging onto the main road from an inner street.
As a result of the accident, A.Z., a passenger in the "Vaz 2101" vehicle born in 2009, suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at the district hospital.
Investigations into the incident are currently being conducted by the Zangiota district IIB YHHB.
Additionally, it is worth noting that earlier in Kashkadarya, a driver struck a drunken man and left him in a cotton field, resulting in the man's death due to a lack of emergency medical assistance.
