A major drug laboratory uncovered in Tashkent (video)

On October 22 this year, during a joint special operation conducted by the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service, four members of a major organized criminal group involved in distributing potent narcotic substances through the ’’dead drop’’ method were caught red-handed in Tashkent, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to reports, two members of the group were initially stopped and searched in the Uchtepa district, where 353 pregabalin tablets and 25 tropicamide pills, both potent controlled substances, were found in their vehicle. During the ongoing operation, two other members of the criminal group were also detained.
It was discovered that they had set up a secret drug laboratory in a house they were temporarily residing in, located in the Yashnobod district. Law enforcement officers seized 50 kilograms of pregabalin, 1,200 packaged pregabalin tablets, 2 kilograms and 400 tablets of tropicamide, 2 liters of raw materials, 112,000 empty bottles and capsules for packaging, and other necessary physical evidence.
It is worth noting that earlier, several individuals from the Samarkand, Surkhandarya, and Khorezm regions were detained with more than 11 kilograms of narcotic substances.
