On February 29, a traffic incident took place in Tashkent involving a King Long bus and a Tracker car, according to the press release from "Toshshahartranskhizmat".
The incident occurred at 06:45 when a King Long bus, operating on route No. 63 towards AShB, was struck by a Tracker car from the opposite direction as it turned at the intersection of Yangi Uzbekistan street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district.
The Tracker was traveling at a high speed of 197 km/h and collided with the midsection of the bus.
No passengers were on board the bus at the time of the accident. The Tracker's driver sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The authorities at the Tashkent Traffic Safety Department of the HDIA are currently formalizing the incident, and investigations are underway.
