The price of water may increase in Tashkent

It has been reported by the press service of 'Tashkent City Water Supply' LLC that the prices of drinking water and wastewater (sewage) services in Tashkent are expected to rise.

The increase in prices is due to a sharp increase in expenses within the water supply system.

The price of one cubic meter of water for residents is 1,400 soums, and wastewater is priced at 1,000 soums. For legal organizations, drinking water costs 3,000 soums, while wastewater is priced at 2,200 soums. Tashkent has submitted this proposal to the city council of deputies.

The report states that water and sewerage prices, expected to increase in Tashkent city, will remain lower than the prices in Tashkent region and other regions of the republic.
