Social networks have been abuzz with the news and a video depicting an incident in the capital city of Tashkent, where a Gentra car attempted to disrupt the President's motorcade, but was eventually shot and halted. Seeking clarification, a correspondent from QALAMPIR.UZ reached out to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The circulated video shows that the driver received warnings from law enforcement officers, but was shot when he continued driving without obeying their orders.
Consequently, the car was brought to a stop, allowing the motorcade to proceed.
