7861The prices for paid parking in Tashkent have been officially set. According to a decision adopted by the mayor on October 16, the hourly tariff ranges from 5,000 to 12,000 soums.
The tariffs are structured as follows:
- 1st Zone: 12,000 soums (City center and high-demand areas)
- 2nd Zone: 10,000 soums (Areas close to the center with significant parking demand)
- 3rd Zone: 8,000 soums (Moderate distance from the city center)
- 4th Zone: 6,000 soums (Farther from the center with lower parking density)
- 5th Zone: 5,000 soums (Most remote and least populated areas, typically on the outskirts)
The first zone encompasses the city center and the most congested areas with high parking demand. The subsequent zones are classified as follows:
Second Zone: Areas close to the center, slightly farther out, but still in high demand for parking.
Third Zone: Locations at a moderate distance from the city center.
Fourth Zone: Areas farther from the center with lower parking density.
Fifth Zone: The most remote and least populated regions, typically situated on the outskirts of the city.
It is important to note that the fees for using paid parking spaces in Tashkent must not exceed the limits established in the agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Additionally, the decision states that "Tashkent Invest Company" is tasked with implementing a unified automated information system for "Paid Parking Places," utilizing funds from the Tashkent City Development Fund. This system is expected to be operational by January 1, 2025, and will facilitate connections to paid parking equipment.
Certain vehicles are exempt from parking fees, including:
- Vehicles with brown, red, or blue-red flashing lights and special sound signals are used by emergency and special services personnel.
- Vehicles belonging to persons with disabilities (I or II group) display the "7.17" road sign on the front and rear windows, including special vehicles for the disabled.
- Vehicles of World War II participants.
- Two-wheeled vehicles without state registration.
Furthermore, at least 5 percent of parking spaces (with a minimum of one space) in lots, especially near commercial enterprises, service centers, medical facilities, and cultural and entertainment institutions, will be reserved for vehicles driven by persons with special permits to park for free.
