7174Frequent power outages have recently been observed across Tashkent. In response to growing concerns, the “Regional Electric Networks” Joint-Stock Company has issued an official explanation.
According to the company, renovation and repair work is currently underway on distribution networks in Tashkent and other regions. These efforts are part of preparations for the upcoming autumn-winter season and the implementation of various state programs, sectoral resolutions, and presidential decrees.
“To ensure worker safety during these operations, scheduled outages are being carried out in several areas,” the company stated. “Information about these planned outages is regularly announced by the press services of our regional branches and enterprises.”
The company also emphasized that, due to the urgency of these tasks, work is being continued despite the extreme summer heat.
In addition to scheduled maintenance, emergencies caused by high temperatures are also contributing to temporary disruptions in the electricity supply across certain regions.
