7 suspected drug dealers were arrested in Tashkent

Seven citizens suspected of drug trafficking were arrested in Tashkent, as reported by a source from QALAMPIR.UZ.

The arrests took place on October 11 during a joint operation conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of Tashkent, and the General Prosecutor's Office. The operation targeted the "Quyosh" neighborhood in the Almazor district of Tashkent, where the suspects were allegedly involved in the sale of narcotics and psychotropic substances.

According to the source, the suspects had been under surveillance for an extended period. The investigation into the case is currently ongoing.

Earlier, in two districts of the Samarkand region, a citizen was caught selling "hashish" at prices ranging from 135,000 to 140,000 soums per group.
