Gentra driver in Tashkent tries to run over citizens after a dispute

In the Shaykhantohur district of Tashkent, a driver of a white Gentra attempted to run over several citizens following a heated altercation. This was reported by the capital's Traffic Safety Department.

The incident occurred around 03:20 on Takhtapul Street. A video circulating online shows the driver deliberately driving toward a group of people. In response, two individuals threw stones at the car’s windshield, shattering it.

Authorities confirmed that all involved individuals have been taken to the district’s Internal Affairs Department, and the vehicle has been impounded. The Shaykhantohur District Internal Affairs Department is currently conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred in the Samarkand region, where a driver ran over a road patrol inspector after refusing to stop as instructed. The suspect was later arrested.
