During raids in Tashkent, individuals attempting to deport foreign citizens to the United States through various means were detained. The State Security Service reported this.
According to the report, during the raid in the capital, a citizen born in 1992, residing in Samarkand, gained the trust of a foreign citizen and promised to send him and four family members to the United States to work through Turkey for 30 thousand US dollars each, totaling 150 thousand US dollars. He was caught while accepting a 15 thousand US dollar advance for the preparation of visa documents through official contacts.
Additionally, a foreign citizen born in 2004, temporarily residing in the capital, gained the trust of another foreign citizen and claimed to have the ability to prepare fake British passports for him. He then demanded 25 thousand US dollars in exchange for sending the individual to the United States via Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, using these fake passports.
As a result of operational measures, this individual was detained while receiving a 12 thousand 500 US dollar advance.
Fake passports and ID cards were also seized from his apartment as material evidence.
Criminal cases have been initiated in both cases under Article 168 (fraud), Part 4, Clause "a," and Article 28,211 (bribery), Part 3, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are ongoing.
It should be noted that earlier, a person was detained in the Jizzakh region for defrauding citizens by promising to send them to the United States via Mexico.
