3927Individuals who cultivated cannabis in their homes have been arrested in Tashkent, according to a report by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.
It was reported that an individual residing in the Mirzo Ulugbek district had grown and maintained six cannabis plants in his apartment. Additionally, a special area had been prepared, and conditions were created to facilitate the growth of these plants.
In another case, an individual was apprehended for cultivating 21 cannabis plants in his home. Approximately 1 kilogram of drug-related paraphernalia intended for drying was discovered in his apartment.
"All evidence collected will be submitted for expert analysis, and a legal decision will be made based on the results," the report stated.
It is also worth noting that a previous incident in the Samarkand region led to the arrest of an individual who had cultivated 670 cannabis plants in a field.
