6284Videos of a baby being burned with boiling water as a result of a family quarrel have been circulating on social networks. The Children's Ombudsman has commented on the incident.
It was revealed that on January 27 of this year, a family quarrel broke out between a resident of the Tashkent district of the Tashkent region, Kh.M. (born in 1999), and her mother-in-law M.Kh. (born in 1966). The mother-in-law threw a thermos of hot water at her daughter-in-law, resulting in burns to the 23-day-old baby’s arms and legs while in her mother’s arms.
"The child received the necessary medical treatment. The district police department is currently conducting a pre-investigation into the incident," the report states.
To prevent further escalation of the dispute, a protection order was issued to H.M. for one month, and the restrictions imposed were explained to the family members.
It should be recalled that earlier in Tashkent, a 31-year-old woman and her 12-year-old child were stabbed by a relative.
