Illegal gas usage worth 8.7 billion soums detected at Tashkent workshop

A mineral fertilizer production workshop in the Tashkent region was found to have illegally consumed 8.7 billion soums worth of natural gas. This was reported by "Uzenergoinspeksiya".

According to the report, the workshop, operated by LLC "N." and located in the Ahangaran district, was discovered to be using natural gas illegally in one steam boiler and two double-circuit heating boilers. This usage occurred without an official contract with a gas supply company.

Preliminary estimates indicate that the illegal use of gas caused damage to state interests amounting to 8 billion 743 million soums. Relevant documents regarding the case have been prepared and forwarded to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.

It is worth noting that a similar case was reported earlier in the city of Fergana, where a greenhouse was found to have illegally connected to the network and consumed 1.6 billion soums worth of natural gas.
