A video alleging that an employee of the "Magic World" private kindergarten in Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek district assaulted one of the children surfaced earlier on QALAMPIR.UZ. The video claimed that the employee was the sister of the kindergarten’s director. The Children’s Ombudsman later confirmed that the employee who raised her hand against the minor was dismissed.

According to reports, a woman named G.A., residing in Mirzo Ulugbek district, informed the Children’s Ombudsman on March 13 that her son, born in 2018, was assaulted by U.I., a female administrator of the kindergarten born in 1989. The mother alleged that U.I. had behaved inappropriately toward the child and requested assistance in thoroughly investigating the matter, as the employee was reportedly still working at the kindergarten despite being held accountable.

The incident was investigated by the Children’s Ombudsman, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It was revealed that U.I., while serving as an administrator, had treated 7-year-old V.D. harshly, taking him to a room without cameras and intentionally assaulting him. The child sustained minor injuries that did not result in long-term health deterioration.

Following a pre-investigation inquiry conducted by the district police department, the case was referred to court. On March 26, the court imposed a fine on U.I. under Article 52, Part 2 of the Administrative Responsibility Code. Additionally, U.I.’s employment contract was terminated on the same day, and her activities at the kindergarten were officially concluded.
